The second Cyril-Methodius readings “Slavic culture and modernity”
24th of May- the day of Slavic culture and writing. The second Cyril-Methodius readings “Slavic culture and modernity” were held in Amur State University of Humanities and Pedagogy.The grand opening of readings was accompanied with doxology of Russian land performed by Bratskiy choir of Iliay prophet Cathedral.
Rector A.A.Shumeyko and episcopate Nicolai the head of Amursk and Chegdomin eparchy greeted the participants of readings, guests and speakers.
15 reports and information touching questions of studying history of our culture, literary works of ancient and modern epoch, connection of cultures and faith in modern multicultural area, problems of spiritual and moral education of youth were represented during the readings.
During the readings speakers answered on questions that audience was interested. The sharing of ideas and speeches was hold.
The tradition of readings will be continued.
