The teachers and students of the Faculty of History and Law took part in the implementation of the project for the 90th anniversary of the city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur
March 4 the lecture for the participants of the project for the 90th anniversary of Komsomolsk-on-Amur - students from different schools of the city was held in the conference hall of the Ostrovsky library. The lecture was given by the lecturer of the Department of History, Philosophy and Law Inga V. Filatova, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Deputy Dean of the Faculty. The event was also attended by 2nd year student Evgenia Kataeva.The lecture on the topic "The history of Komsomolsk-on-Amur" was devoted to the initial stage of the construction of the city. The prerequisites and reasons for the construction of a defense outpost in the Far East during the first five-year plans were analyzed, the heroic efforts of the first builders to organize the construction of factories and the city itself were described, the master plan was analyzed in the context of the architectural urban planning concept of the Socialist City.
The lecture on the history of Komsomolsk-on-Amur was the first event of the project with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund. The project is implemented by the documentary film studio "NovIK" of the ANKO for the Promotion of Culture and Art "KULTRASSVET" in partnership with the Municipal Centralized Library named after N. Ostrovsky.
The aim of the project is to create a positive image of the city of Komsomolsk–on-Amur among young people through obtaining local lore knowledge to preserve the memory of the heroic days of the city's construction with the help of the artistic and visual language of documentary films.
At the end of the lecture, a career-oriented conversation was held with the students about the Faculty of History and Law, about the university and the events that are held at the university as part of the upcoming "Vacation School".
