Valery Vladimirovich Ivanov's lecture "Women in the Great Patriotic War" for students and teachers was held at the Faculty of Philology and Intercultural Communication
On May 6, 2022, on the eve of the Victory Day celebration, the Department of Literature and Russian as a foreign language, continuing its work on patriotic and spiritual and moral education, organized an open lecture for philology students and teachers.Valery Vladimirovich Ivanov, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor, Associate Professor of the Department of History and Jurisprudence of the Moscow State Pedagogical University, delivered a lecture "Women in the Great Patriotic War" to the audience. Vividly and easily, having established a live contact with the audience, Valery Vladimirovich told not only about the exploits of individual representatives of different military professions, but also about the fate and role of women in the war. V.V. Ivanov gave students the opportunity to feel, literally, the heavy burden of war, demonstrating weapons and parts of equipment of a soldier of the Great Patriotic War. Domestic. Valery Vladimirovich brought the audience to the conclusion about the horror and unacceptability of the situation when women should stand up for the Motherland, and about the greatness of the people, whose women do it with honor.
Students and teachers listened to the lecture with interest, and then asked questions. The event ended with heartfelt poems about the war performed by the winners of the university reading contest – Anna Chuprova and Daria Ryzhikova.
