On October 13, 2022, the Department of Pedagogy of Professional Education held the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Digital Didactics: Realities and Prospects"

The main directions of the international conference were to discuss the accumulated experience in the field of digital didactics.
The conference was opened by Oleg A. Bulavenko, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Pedagogy of Professional Education of ASUHP and Tatiana A. Stepchenko, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Vice-rector of the BSU named after Academician I.G. Petrovsky.
The conference was organized in four directions:
1. Means, principles and technologies of digital didactics.
2. Problems of digital learning, risks and development prospects.
3. Digitalization of the educational institution management process.
4. Digital educational environment.
Face-to-face and video presentations, as well as online performances, were presented on each of the topics.
The event was attended by more than 30 participants from the cities of the Russian Federation. Following the results of the international conference, the positive and negative sides in the field of digital didactics were identified. Problematic areas have been identified that still need to be addressed.
