Advanced training courses for foreign language teachers at ASUHP
Advanced training courses for foreign language teachers were held at the Institute of Correspondence and Additional Education (Department of Retraining and Additional Education) of ASUHP with the assistance of Department of Romano-Germanic and Oriental Languages.This year's classes were devoted to the problems of using modern technologies and learning models in solving linguistic and methodological problems in teaching a foreign language.
The course program included a number of topical issues related to the digitalization of education, with the introduction of technology for blended learning of a foreign language.
During lectures, workshops and laboratory classes within the framework of the courses, teachers of the department, together with teachers and psychologists of the university, introduced school teachers to digital tools in the educational activities of teachers, the concepts of "digital literacy", as well as modern technologies and teaching formats (hybrid, distance, online, mixed foreign language learning models language).
Based on the results of the training courses, foreign language teachers have developed technological lesson maps in a mixed format using the "Station Rotation" and "Inverted Classroom" mixed learning models, which they have successfully tested in the educational process.
At the end of the courses, teachers made presentations in which they presented the results of their experience in using approaches, techniques and technologies of teaching a foreign language, after which a discussion and exchange of experience took place in the Round Table format.
