Teachers of the Department of Romano-Germanic and Oriental Languages of FPIC conducted a translation workshop for schoolchildren

On November 22, the next lesson of the philological lecture hall took place according to the work plan of the SFP (school of the future philologist) at the Faculty of Philology and Intercultural Communication.

The event was attended by more than 30 pupils of grades 9-11 of Komsomolsk-on-Amur schools. Popular science lectures were given to the students on the cultural features of Chinese commercials and the problems of their translation (Kolbanova N.N.), as well as on strategies for translating English-language film titles into Russian (Krasnoperova Yu.V.).
Based on the lectures, a translation workshop was held, during which students were able to try their hand at translation and feel like a translator.
