On May 14th the Department of theory and methodology of physical education and sport held a regional scientific-methodical seminar "Relevant problems of PHYSICAL CULTURE AND SPORT IN the EDUCATION SYSTEM AND WAYS of THEIR SOLUTION". 24 participants of our region wished to participate in the seminar to submit for consideration and discuss topical issues of physical culture and sports.

The senior lecturer of the Department of philosophy and socio-political disciplines Alexander Biryukov attended a scientific seminar at the state Museum of Auschwitz-Birkenau, located in the city of Auschwitz in the Republic of Poland.
On April 25th the results of the III International competition for the best scientific work in the X International student scientific and practical conference "Dialogue of cultures – dialogue about peace and for peace” were evaluated. The event was organized by the Department of Russian as a foreign language (the Head of the Department Elena E. Zharikova).
The competition is open to talented students, many of whom may later become part of the leading scientific staff of Russia.
Amur State University of Humanities and Pedagogy hosted the Nanai culture fair on May 18. The event had the character of "dialogue of cultures": representatives of different nationalities – Nanais, Negidals, Evenks, Russians, the Chinese were present. The event was attended by over a hundred people: students of five faculties and the Institute of pedagogy and psychology of ASUHP, the inhabitants of the village of Nizhniy holby, the village named after Polina Osipenko.

On May 17, the traditional exhibition-fair "Parade of professions" was held on the youth square. The students of ASUHP and the stuff annually participate in the fair. In the tent with career guidance materials the applicants were told about the activities of the university and the advantages of admission to ASUHP.

On May 18, the annual opening of the summer labor semester was held at the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Youth House. The Amur State University of Humanities and Pedagogy was represented by two groups.
The Department of theory and methodology of technology education completed the activities carried out within the Days of science-2019. 78 students of the faculty of technology, economics and design and 27 students of the institute of distant education and additional training took part in the activities of the Department.

The event was held on may 5 in the Silinsky Park of Komsomolsk-on-Amur. The festival managed to raise more than 21 thousand rubles, all the funds raised will go to the non-profit organization "Constellation of the Horse" to conduct classes in hippotherapy for children with disabilities.
At the concert venue of the festival performed the best contemporary creative teams and creative unions of ASUHP. Guests of the event were able to take part in competitions, master classes, see agility from the kennel club "Berkut" and equestrian competitions.

TV channel "Science" together with "Wikimedia RU" launches photo contest "Illustrate science!". The best of the submitted works will illustrate Wikipedia articles on science in 300 languages.
