A lecture for schoolchildren about the uprising in "Sobibor" was conducted by an associate professor of the Department of History of ASUHP
On January 24, Associate Professor of the Department of History, Philosophy and Law Alexander Biryukov, as part of the Holocaust Memorial Week, held open lectures for schoolchildren, visiting Gymnasium N9 and school N27.
Alexander talked to high school students about this tragic time in the history of the twentieth century, telling in detail about the uprising in the Sobibor death camp.

The university held a cycle of career guidance meetings with graduates of Khabarovsk Pedagogical College named after Hero of the Soviet Union D. L. Kalarash
On February 4, 2022, the representatives of the Institute of Distant education and Additional training and the Admissions Committee of ASUHP held three video meetings with college students in the following areas: "Special Preschool Education" and "Primary Education".
During the event, the representatives of the university spoke about the rules for admission to full-time and part-time education in 2022, the features of training according to the associated curricula, the possibilities of obtaining education in a distance format.
College students showed interest in obtaining higher education at our university, asked questions, were interested in the conditions of study and life of students.
We hope that the series of online career guidance meetings with graduates of the Pedagogical College in 2022 was informative and useful for them.

The student of the Faculty of Technology, Economics, Design was acknowledged the "Best education worker" of Komsomolsk-on-Amur city
On January 28, a solemn ceremony was held at the Drama Theater honoring the citizens who made a significant contribution to the socio-economic development of the city in 2021. Dmitry Fomichev, a student of the Faculty of Technology, Economics and Design, received the "Prize of the Year" from the hands of the head of Komsomolsk-on-Amur Alexander Zhornik.
Dmitry Anatolyevich is studying in the direction of "Pedagogical education" (profile "Technology and Informatics") and works as a master of industrial training at a Forestry college.

The teacher of ASUHP has made "More than just a journey"
The teachers of Amur State University of Humanities and Pedagogy, who took part in the II Educational Marathon from the Russian Society "Knowledge", were awarded with certificates for a tourist trip to Russia from the project "Russia is a country of opportunities". The teachers could choose trips to different regions of our country from Kamchatka and the Kuriles to Kaliningrad and Crimea.
Within the framework of this project, Yulia V. Kuzmina, assistant of the Department of Foreign Languages, career guidance counselor of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, was the first to make "More than a journey". 12 teachers and educators from all over Russia took part in the trip to the Crimea. They visited cultural, historical and natural monuments of the Crimea in the cities of Sevastopol, Feodosia, Kerch, Yalta, Livadia, Alupka, Bakhchisarai, Balaklava. The useful program of the trip included activities for cleaning the territories of nature reserves and lectures and discussions on the analysis of the recreational and tourist complex of the Crimea. All participants received great pleasure and satisfaction from the joint trip.
Currently, the Russian Society "Knowledge" is conducting two projects: the League of Lecturers and the League of Knowledge. Participate in contests and get well-deserved prizes. Russia is a country of opportunities!

The results of the open Regional competition of scientific and methodological developments of teachers and specialists of correctional and educational institutions for correctional and educational organizations have been summed up
On December 21, 2021, the Department of Preschool and Correctional Pedagogy and Psychology of the Amur State University of Humanities and Pedagogy held an open Regional competition of scientific and methodological developments of teachers and specialists of correctional educational institutions for correctional educational organizations. The competition was attended by specialists of the support service of educational institutions of various levels and types working with children with disabilities from Komsomolsk-on-Amur, Amursk, Khabarovsk, Komsomolsk, Amur and Vaninsky districts. The competition was attended by applicants with individual and collective developments. The participants of the competition presented methodological developments of correctional lessons / classes for schoolchildren, methodological developments of correctional classes for school-age children, correctional and developmental programs, summaries of correctional activities, summaries of speech therapy classes, methodological developments on the problems of providing assistance to children with disabilities.

All materials submitted for the competition are educational in nature, do not contradict generally accepted scientific facts, ethical standards and legislation of the Russian Federation.

The jury of the competition notes the high level of materials presented by teachers of educational institutions of various levels and types working with children with special health opportunities.

Six Masters of Pedagogy and Management received diplomas with honors
In January 2022, after the successful defense of master's theses, students of distance learning in the areas of "Pedagogy and psychology of education" and "Management in the field of education" were awarded master's degree diplomas at the university. Out of the twenty students who completed their studies, six graduates received diplomas with honors!
Congratulations to the graduates on the successful completion of their studies. We thank the teachers of the graduating departments and the scientific supervisors of the undergraduates, as well as the staff of the Institute of Distant education and Additional training, in which the graduate students studied.

On January 24, the rector's reception in honor of the best students of the institution was held in the mirror hall of the Amur State University of Humanities and Pedagogy. The event happened on the eve of the Day of Russian Students – Tatiana's Day.
Rector Viktor Bavykin, Hieromonk Innokenty, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Valentina Degtyarenko and Vice-Rector for Scientific Activities Alexander Gotnoga, as well as the head of Educational Work Konstantin Tendit made welcoming words and parting speeches.

"Black Sun" brought the governor's award to the assistant professor of Amur State University of Humanities and Pedagogy
Valery V.  Levataev, Associate Professor of the Department of the Faculty of technologies, economy and design of ASUHP, was awarded the Khabarovsk Krai Governor's Prize in the field of literature and art.
The winners of the Governor's Prize in Literature and Art for 2021 have been named in Khabarovsk. The laureates of the award are determined annually for the most talented, innovative and original works in the following categories: literature and art, music, documentary films, architecture and design, preservation of cultural heritage, folk art and a number of others.
In the field of fine arts, Valery V. Levataev was noted for the monumental painting "Black Sun. In memory of the victims of the Holocaust. Copper. Hot enamel. Wood."
The Minister of Culture of the Khabarovsk Territory Yu. I. Yermoshkin congratulated the laureates and noted that achievements in the field of literature, art and folk art are the property of the region and descendants will be rightfully proud of them.

The participation of 1st-year students of ASUHP in assessing the level of knowledge in basic subjects and the basic (general cultural) level of training
In the period from 11/29/2021 to 12/03/2021, bachelor students of the 1st year of training in  44.00.00 Education and Pedagogical Sciences took part in the assessment of the level of knowledge in basic subjects and basic (general cultural) level of training, which was conducted by the Federal Institute for Education Quality Assessment.
The assessment of knowledge was carried out on school (basic) subjects in accordance with the profile of training (Russian, history, mathematics, physics, biology, geography), as well as on the basic (general cultural) level of training.
201 people took part in the assessment of the level of knowledge, which amounted to 84.1% of the contingent of 1st-year students of pedagogical areas of training.

The XXIV Regional competition of young scientists of the Khabarovsk Territory section "Humanities, art history and cultural studies" was held at ASUHP.
On January 12, 2022, the XXIV Regional Competition of young scientists of the Khabarovsk Territory section "Humanities, Art History and cultural studies" was held on the basis of the Amur State University of Humanities and Pedagogy.
Before the start of the work section, Viktor S. Bavykin, Acting Rector of ASUHP, gave a welcoming speech.
This year 19 applications from 6 universities of the Khabarovsk Territory were submitted for the Competition. All 19 young scientists under the age of 35 were allowed to participate in the Competition. The form of the event is mixed: the contestants presented their works in person and using remote technologies.

The Diplomas festivities for students of the Demography project
The project "Demography", organized by our university together with the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, Moscow, ended with the diplomas festivities.
The training of citizens took place within the framework of the federal project "Employment Promotion" of the national project "Demography".

On December 13, as part of a joint plan with the Russian Society "Knowledge", the Department of Theory and Methodology of Physical Culture and Sports Subjects held a "Round table" on the topic "Physical Culture and Sports: problems and solutions". This event (in the remote mode of the Zoom conference) was attended by teachers of the department: Savchuk V.V., Zherebtsova I.V. Khrushch O.I., Kozlova E.V. and 3rd year students of all faculties and the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology.

The results of the All–Russian contest "Fairy-tales, though far from true, teach good lads a thing or two"
In November 2021, the All–Russian competition "Fairy-tales, though far from true, teach good lads a thing or two", organized by the Glazovsky State Pedagogical University, started.
The competition was held remotely and ended on December 6, and on December 20 the results were brought to the participants. In order to take part in the competition, students of pedagogical universities had to present creative work on anti-corruption topics.

The Round table on topical issues of foreign language education at the Faculty of Philology and Cross-cultural communication of ASUHP
On December 10, 2021, within the framework of advanced training courses for foreign language teachers, the second of a series of scientific and methodological seminars devoted to modern trends in the methodology of teaching foreign languages took place.
The seminar, organized by the teaching staff of the Department of Romano-Germanic and Oriental Languages, was attended by teachers of foreign languages of the city and the district, teachers and students of the university, teachers of general and additional education.

The Students of the Faculty of History have been engaged in increasing the prestige of the teaching profession among schoolchildren
Since December 9, 2021, the vocational guidance project "Teacher 2.0. Reboot" has been implemented at the Faculty of History and Law at ASUHP. The project is being implemented with the financial support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs "Rosmolodezh" and the trade union committee of students of ASUHP.

Teachers of the Department of Literature and Russian as a Foreign Language took part in the Regional stage of the International Christmas Educational Readings
On 14.12.21, associate professors of the Department of Literature and Russian as a Foreign Language Roman Y. Kuchinsky and Nadezhda V. Zaitseva made presentations at the Regional Christmas educational Readings.
Roman Yurievich presented a report on the topic "To educate a "positively beautiful person": is there a place for F.M. Dostoevsky in a modern school?". In his speech, the main difficulties of studying the works of F.M. Dostoevsky in literature lessons at school were identified, among them the complexity of the spiritual and moral problems of the great Russian writer's work, the religious and philosophical content of his works, the specifics of the characters he created, the peculiarities of individual style. Based on the data of sociological surveys of schoolchildren and on their own pedagogical experience, Roman Y. Kuchinsky showed that these difficulties hinder the comprehension of Fyodor Mikhailovich's creativity, but at the same time they open up opportunities for the spiritual and moral growth of students.

On December 12-13, 2021, the students of ASUHP took part in the All-Russian test of knowledge of the Constitution of the Russian Federation
In total, 77 people took part in the online testing, representatives of all faculties of ASUHP on the basis of the platform registered by the Faculty of History and Law. The students showed a high level of knowledge of the content of the Basic Law of the country.

The curator of the action was E.Y. Ivanova, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Head of the Department of History, Philosophy and Law.

On December 10, 2021, the IV All-Russian (national) Scientific and Practical Conference "Regional Russia: history and modernity" was held on the basis of ASUHP
The conference was attended by more than 30 representatives from 11 higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation.
Areas of work of the conference:
1. Modern problems of education in the regions of Russia.
2. National project "Education": regional aspect.
3. Socio-economic development of the regions of the Russian Federation: history and modernity.
4. Demographic problems of the regions of the Russian Federation and interethnic (interfaith) interaction.
5. Industrial and innovative development of regions: modern challenges, problems and solutions.
6. Problems and state of public administration of the subjects of the Federation and municipalities and self-government in Russia.
7. The Russian language in a multicultural space.
8. The state of regional biodiversity and problems of its conservation.
9. Development and state of agriculture in the regions of Russia.
10. Environmental protection, life safety and public health in the regions of the Russian Federation.
Based on the materials of the conference, it is planned to publish a collection of scientific papers, which will be posted on the website of ASUHP and uploaded to the scientific electronic library e-LAIBRARY with indexing in the RSCI.
