On April 28, 2022, as part of the "Days of Science-2022", a scientific and practical student conference "Problems of Linguistics" was held at the Faculty of Philology and Intercultural Communication. The conference was organized by Krasnoperova Yu.V., Ph.D., Head of the Department of Romano-Germanic and Oriental Languages and Borovikova K.V., Ph.D., Dean of the Faculty of Philology and Intercultural Communication.
During the conference, 18 reports on scientific and practical linguistic topics were heard by students of the 4th year of the Linguistics training course and the 3rd year of the Pedagogical Education training course. 35 people took part in the discussion – students of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th years of study, teachers.
The jury of the scientific and practical conference noted the novelty and relevance of many works, which was due to the interdisciplinary approach to the subject of research in accordance with modern trends in the science of language. The presented reports touched upon such aspects of linguistic knowledge as translation theory and practice, discourse theory, cognitive linguistics, genre studies, phraseology, stylistics, literary studies.

Tarasenko, Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of Romano-Germanic and Oriental Languages of the Amur State University of Humanities and Pedagogy.
Litvinova Olga Yurievna "Pragmalinguistic features of communicative failures (based on the material of the English-language television situational comedy "K.C. Undercover")". The scientific supervisor is Yulia V. Krasnoperova, Ph.D., Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Romano–Germanic and Oriental Languages of the Amur State University of Humanities and Pedagogy.
Gubanov Andrey Andreevich "Linguistic aspects of the translation of the film text (based on the material of English and Chinese)". Scientific supervisor – Natalia V. Savartseva, Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of Romano-Germanic and Oriental Languages of the Amur State University of Humanities and Pedagogy.
Beresnev Nikita Pavlovich "Translation of computer games texts in the genre of science fiction from English into Russian". Scientific supervisor – Tretyakova Marina Fedorovna, Associate Professor of the Department of Romano-Germanic and Oriental Languages of the Amur State University of Humanities and Pedagogy.
In the course of its work, the committee emphasized the undoubted practical significance of the reports. The conference materials are recommended by the committee for the publication in the electronic collection "Bulletin of the Scientific Society of Students, postgraduates and young scientists".
