On April 4, 2022, 1st-year philology students together with the curator Anastasia V. Yakimova, associate professor of the Department of Literature and Russian as a Foreign Language, visited the Drama Theater, where they watched the play "Forbidden Fruit". The performance was staged by the Moscow theater of Nonna Grishaeva with the support of the Russian Cultural Foundation and is a charity project consecrated by Patriarch Kirill. Komsomolsk-on-Amur was lucky enough to become one of the cities included in the theater's tour.
Students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the work of a modern playwright – I. Afanasyev, which is important for their professional formation as philologists. In addition, the performance raises important issues of upbringing, the formation of a moral personality, contributes to the development of one's own life position in solving serious problems: the importance of the family and the moral foundations of its construction, love, faith and trust, forgiveness, attitude to God, etc. However, despite the complexity of the issues raised, the performance leaves a good feeling in the soul of the audience. Attending such an event is also significant for the spiritual development of future teachers.
After the performance, the audience had the opportunity to communicate with the playwright and director of the play I. Afanasyev and the actors – E. Korobeynikova (actress of the Moscow Art Theater named after Gorky) and Z. Ronzhin (actor of the "Theater of the Moon").
