Valery V. Levataev, Associate Professor of the Department of the Faculty of technologies, economy and design of ASUHP, was awarded the Khabarovsk Krai Governor's Prize in the field of literature and art.
The winners of the Governor's Prize in Literature and Art for 2021 have been named in Khabarovsk. The laureates of the award are determined annually for the most talented, innovative and original works in the following categories: literature and art, music, documentary films, architecture and design, preservation of cultural heritage, folk art and a number of others.
In the field of fine arts, Valery V. Levataev was noted for the monumental painting "Black Sun. In memory of the victims of the Holocaust. Copper. Hot enamel. Wood."
The Minister of Culture of the Khabarovsk Territory Yu. I. Yermoshkin congratulated the laureates and noted that achievements in the field of literature, art and folk art are the property of the region and descendants will be rightfully proud of them.
